What is QE?
QE is the short for Quantitative Easing, which is an unconventional monetary policy designed to prevent a credit crunch and economic recession by injecting a large amount of base currency into the market. After the financial crisis in 2008, the FED initiated 4 rounds of QE which successively exited in 2013.
